Leads and scales a Financial Services Solutions Architect team, partnering with sales and strategic customers to drive enterprise adoption of AI products. Responsibilities
- Hire, manage, and guide a team of pre-sales Solutions Architects, providing technical guidance and career development.
- Set team performance goals in collaboration with sales and cross-functional teams.
- Sponsor high-value strategic customers and advise on AI adoption strategies, use-case scoping, and deployment.
- Partner with sales leadership to drive adoption of Anthropic products across financial-services verticals and horizontal use cases.
- Work with product and engineering teams to prioritize customer feedback and resolve adoption blockers.
- Travel to customer sites and conferences for executive sessions, technical workshops, and relationship building.
- Establish a shared vision for solutions that enable safe and beneficial AI.
- Contribute to thought leadership through presentations, webinars, and technical content.
- Stay current with emerging AI trends and the evolving ecosystem.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or similar pre-sales technical professional.
- 3+ years of technical pre-sales management experience.
- Experience selling complex technical products to Financial Services companies.
- Deep technical proficiency with enterprise AI use cases, API integrations, and enterprise solution rollouts.
- Understanding of go-to-market organizations based on consumption business models rather than SaaS sales cycles.
- Experience building and scaling teams and processes in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and coaching abilities.
- Strong executive presence and ability to build relationships with technical and engineering leaders.
- Familiarity with the architecture and operation of LLMs.
- Passion for making powerful technology safe and societally beneficial.
- Active interest in emerging AI research and industry trends.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a relevant field.
Nice-to-haves
- 5+ years leading Solutions Architect teams through hypergrowth, ideally scaling teams from 10 to 50+ people.
- Experience managing senior individual contributors and developing junior talent in complex enterprise software sales environments.
- Hands-on experience with AI platforms and enterprise integration patterns.
- Proven experience engaging C-level stakeholders in $10M+ technical evaluations and enterprise sales cycles.
- Deep go-to-market experience with banking, insurance, payment providers, or asset management customers.

- Annual on-target earnings compensation: $315,000–$380,000 USD.
