Responsibilities
- Own the India product strategy and roadmap end-to-end, defining vision, prioritizing initiatives, and measuring outcomes tied to growth, revenue, and merchant satisfaction.
- Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, design, data science, operations, legal and compliance, sales, and partnerships to deliver India-focused product features, integrations, and commercial programs.
- Design and run rapid experiments, launch localized features and pricing, and iterate based on quantitative and qualitative feedback.
- Understand Indian merchants, platforms, payment service providers, gateways, regulators, and payment rails; translate market dynamics into product differentiation and commercial opportunities.
- Build products and flows that help Indian businesses sell globally, including cross-border routing, foreign exchange, reconciliation, compliance, payout rails, and developer experience improvements.
- Partner with partnerships and business development teams to secure and scale strategic distribution and platform integrations.
- Represent product and market perspectives to regional and global stakeholders, providing clear decision-making and trade-off rationale.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in product management or equivalent roles, with product leadership in payments, fintech, marketplaces, or developer platform products.
- Deep knowledge of the Indian payments and commerce ecosystem, including local payment methods, banks, and regulatory landscapes.
- Track record of shipping localized products and scaling go-to-market plays in India or similarly complex emerging markets.
- Strong analytical instincts and experience running experiments and using metrics to drive decisions.
- Ability to prioritize high-impact initiatives, operate comfortably amid ambiguity, and move quickly through iteration.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence engineering, legal, operations, and sales teams.
- Customer-obsessed approach, including first-hand experience speaking with merchants, partners, and developer communities and translating feedback into product requirements.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, bias for action, and experience operating with limited resources to achieve outsized outcomes.

- Experience with cross-border payments, currency conversion, payouts, or compliance for global trade.
- Experience with developer platforms, SDKs, APIs, or businesses serving platforms and marketplaces.
- Experience liaising with regulators or navigating complex compliance requirements.
