Responsibilities
- Help customers meet technology and business requirements using Redis databases, products, solutions, and services.
- Understand, quantify, and verify customer business needs and use cases.
- Collaborate with customer technical teams, including architects, developers, PMOs, and C-level stakeholders, to ensure successful proofs of concept and pilots.
- Partner with Sales to develop account strategies, identify new opportunities, and expand existing accounts.
- Present Redis capabilities and technology in a professional, engaging manner, emphasizing business impact and competitive advantages.
- Use customer feedback to improve product materials, technical best practices, and technical documentation.
- Provide feedback to Product Management and R&D teams.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, ideally database engineering, for enterprise software.
- Hands-on experience with server-side software development and Linux.
- Experience with scalable, highly available distributed systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Collaborative team-player mindset.
Compensation and Benefits
- Estimated gross base annual salary: $150,000–$187,500 for New York, California, Washington, Colorado, and Rhode Island.
