Solution Architect

Develop Redis-powered solutions for enterprise customers, lead technical evaluations and pilots, and partner with Sales on account strategy. Requires 3+ years of pre-sales engineering experience, server-side development and Linux expertise, distributed-systems experience, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Help customers meet technology and business requirements using Redis databases, products, solutions, and services.
  • Understand, quantify, and verify customer business needs and use cases.
  • Collaborate with customer technical teams, including architects, developers, PMOs, and C-level stakeholders, to ensure successful proofs of concept and pilots.
  • Partner with Sales to develop account strategies, identify new opportunities, and expand existing accounts.
  • Present Redis capabilities and technology in a professional, engaging manner, emphasizing business impact and competitive advantages.
  • Use customer feedback to improve product materials, technical best practices, and technical documentation.
  • Provide feedback to Product Management and R&D teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, ideally database engineering, for enterprise software.
  • Hands-on experience with server-side software development and Linux.
  • Experience with scalable, highly available distributed systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Collaborative team-player mindset.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Estimated gross base annual salary: $150,000–$187,500 for New York, California, Washington, Colorado, and Rhode Island.

  • The role may include discretionary bonuses, stock options, commuter benefits based on location, or a commission plan.
