Leads a Salesforce development and QA organization while owning architecture, CPQ and Billing delivery, integrations, governance, and the full SDLC. Requires 7+ years of Salesforce development experience, team leadership, and deep expertise in Revenue Cloud, Billing, and CPQ.

Responsibilities
Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 1–5 Salesforce developers, administrators, and QA engineers based in India.
- Own hiring and performance management, including interviews, performance goals, reviews, and career development plans.
- Foster continuous learning, accountability, and technical excellence.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
Cross-Team Liaison & Stakeholder Engagement
- Bridge US and India development teams to align priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
- Partner with Product, Business Systems, Finance, Revenue Operations, Sales, and GTM teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Engage clients and vendors on integration scoping, solution design, and delivery coordination.
Technical Architecture & Development
- Design, develop, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and declarative platform tools.
- Own CPQ quoting and pricing rule design, including product catalogs, pricing waterfalls, approval workflows, and quote templates.
- Lead Salesforce Billing and revenue recognition architecture, including invoice generation, payment processing, revenue schedules, and Sage Intacct integration.
- Drive Revenue Cloud / Revenue Lifecycle Management implementation and enhancements.
- Architect and oversee integrations involving MuleSoft, DocuSign, Conga, Sage Intacct, Snowflake, and BigQuery.
- Lead data migration scoping, mapping, ETL design, and post-migration validation.
Platform Governance & Delivery
- Own environment strategy, release management, sandbox refresh cycles, and CI/CD deployment pipelines using Salto and Jenkins.
- Conduct technical design reviews covering security, performance, and governor limits.
- Oversee the SDLC from requirements verification through QA, UAT, deployment, and post-production support.
- Enforce code quality, peer review, and documentation standards.
QA Management
- Manage QA or quality engineering teams, including hiring, performance management, and skills development.
- Apply functional, regression, integration, performance, and UAT methodologies.
- Oversee Salesforce testing, including Apex unit-test coverage, sandbox data seeding, and deployment validation.
- Define acceptance criteria with Product and Business stakeholders.
- Track quality metrics and produce test summary reports for release sign-off.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce configuration and development experience.
- 3+ years leading Salesforce developers and/or administrators.
- Delivery experience across Revenue Cloud, Salesforce Billing, CPQ, and Sales Cloud.
- Expert proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce CPQ product rules, pricing rules, quote templates, approval workflows, and advanced approvals.
- Hands-on Salesforce Billing experience with invoice runs, payment gateways, revenue recognition, and financial close processes.
- Familiarity with Revenue Cloud / Revenue Lifecycle Management configuration and data models.
- Integration experience with MuleSoft, DocuSign/Conga, Sage Intacct, and data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines using Salto or Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce governance limits, security model, and deployment best practices.
- Experience managing QA or quality engineering teams.
- Familiarity with Salesforce test automation frameworks such as Provar, Copado Robotic Testing, or Selenium.
