Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and annual close — journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Manage revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP, including subscription and multi-period arrangements
- Oversee AP, accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets
- Assist with financial statements and internal management reports
- Support annual audits, tax filings, and coordination with external auditors and advisors
- Drive finance system implementations and workflow automation
- Assist with cash flow management and forecasting
- Maintain and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Partner with operations, finance, and leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analyses
- Support benefits administration as the team grows
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and help us scale
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience at an accounting firm, ideally with SaaS clients
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP accounting practices
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and NetSuite
- Advanced spreadsheet and financial modeling skills
- CPA certification and a degree in Accounting or Finance
- Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to roll up sleeves and work hands-on in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Compensation
- Estimated salary range: $120,000 - $170,000/year
