Responsibilities
- Own and drive the technical vision, architecture, and long-term strategy for the SIW platform, ensuring enterprise-grade security, scalability, and performance.
- Lead the design and implementation of core platform features and foundational framework components.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Design, and Principal Engineers to shape the product roadmap and translate business requirements into technical strategy.
- Resolve complex technical challenges, including performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and architectural limitations.
- Champion technical excellence and innovation by advocating for technologies and approaches that advance the identity platform.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and responsiveness across devices and browsers.
- Write clean, modular, well-tested, maintainable code.
- Identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software development experience, including at least 8 years designing and building complex, enterprise-grade web applications.
- Experience as a technical leader architecting and delivering large-scale, high-impact software projects.
- Expert knowledge of React and TypeScript, including state management, component architecture, and performance optimization.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make high-judgment technical decisions in ambiguous situations.
- Ability to mentor senior engineers and influence technical direction across multiple teams.
- Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Webpack, or Vite.
- Strong understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Familiarity with server-side languages such as Java or C#.
- Familiarity with Jest, React Testing Library, or Playwright.
- Understanding of web security, secure coding practices, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of IAM protocols such as OAuth, OIDC, and SAML.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices.
