Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a sizable team of Client Account Managers focused on torso export advertisers to deliver quarterly revenue, retention, and advertiser growth targets for the Greater China Region.
- Own the torso export advertiser book of business for Greater China, excluding top key accounts, ensuring coverage, depth, and scalable service levels.
- Provide expertise on Pinterest advertising solutions for export advertisers, focusing on performance and lower-funnel products such as conversions, shopping, feed-based solutions, and measurement.
- Define segmentation, tiering, and prioritization frameworks for torso accounts based on revenue potential, growth velocity, vertical, and product fit.
- Develop medium- and long-term growth strategies for torso, including revenue targets, product mix, and vertical plays.
- Identify emerging key-account opportunities and create paths to upgrade them into higher service tiers.
- Build and operationalize data-driven account plans with objectives, tactics, and success metrics at portfolio and account levels.
- Systematize learnings into reusable playbooks, checklists, and training for the team and broader Greater China organization.
- Represent torso advertisers and the Greater China export market in cross-functional forums and product feedback loops.
- Synthesize market, competitive, and performance insights to influence Greater China and global strategies.
- Ensure the torso team maintains high standards for policy, brand safety, and measurement integrity.
- Drive operational excellence through accurate logging, forecasting discipline, CRM hygiene, and adherence to internal processes.
- Proactively identify and mitigate performance, policy, and operational risks within the torso portfolio.
- Translate complex AI-generated data and performance insights into compelling narratives and actionable client strategies.
- Monitor AI and digital marketing trends and advocate for new AI tools and practices to drive client success.
Requirements
- 12+ years of professional experience in digital media sales, online advertising, or sales leadership.
- Experience with the Greater China export advertising business and advertisers and agencies in the Greater China area.
- Experience building or scaling a torso portfolio segment between key accounts and scaled business at a technology platform or digital media company.
- Experience with global or multi-region advertisers, such as marketplaces and large ecommerce exporters, and complex stakeholder environments.
- Data-driven leadership experience and the ability to lead teams against aggressive goals.
- Demonstrated track record of leading and inspiring others.
- Proven experience managing and growing a sizable book of business and scaled advertiser portfolio.
- Experience in process management, operations management, and business growth and scaling.
- Ability to extract insights from data, inform strategic decisions, and translate insights into action plans.
- Business proficiency in Mandarin and English.
- Fluency in Salesforce, Tableau, Excel, and other sales productivity software.
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
- BA/BS degree required.
- Ability to work in the office or in front of customers for in-person collaboration, typically two days per week, within commuting distance of the Singapore City office.
