Community Manager - French Speaker

Responsibilities

• Gain a deep understanding of the market and specialized knowledge to identify user and moderator pain points, competitors, and market opportunities.
• Cultivate, recruit, educate, and grow a local community of moderators, and implement a conversion funnel to onboard external creators and local users as active moderators.
• Serve as a public face to local volunteer moderators, building trust, driving engagement, mediating conflicts, and helping drive solutions.
• Iterate, innovate, and scale the consumer growth playbook by identifying opportunities, suggesting programs, and aligning internal teams on new plans.
• Communicate quantitative and qualitative insights to optimize the international consumer growth playbook.
• Run reports, build dashboards, analyze data, set KPIs, and execute community initiatives.
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Community, Engineering, Marketing, Safety, and Business Development teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in community development, project management, growth, operations, or product consulting, with a track record of community-led projects that drove business impact.
• Deep knowledge of French culture, including current events, politics, customs, traditions, language, topics of interest, and taboos.
• Nuanced understanding of France's digital landscape and internet culture.
• Succinct and persuasive communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across internal teams, users, moderators, partners, content creators, and influencers.
• Outstanding execution and attention to detail.
• Strong interest in developing and driving projects, framing issues, testing hypotheses, and improving processes.
• Proficiency in English.
• Based in the UK or Ireland.
