Community Manager, Virtual Spaces

This role owns Lovable’s Discord, Reddit, Facebook, and recurring virtual programming, while developing volunteer champions and surfacing community insights to internal teams. It requires 6+ years in community, events, virtual programs, or developer relations, plus deep platform fluency and strong live-production skills.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience across community management, events, virtual programs, or developer relations, including experience as a recognizable community representative.
  • Experience building and running a recurring virtual program end-to-end at an early-stage or high-growth technology company.
  • Deep fluency with Discord, including roles, permissions, bots, voice culture, and moderation.
  • Strong understanding of Reddit dynamics and moderation norms.
  • Confident live host and facilitator, comfortable on camera and handling Q&A.
  • Experience recruiting, supporting, and retaining volunteer moderators and community champions.
  • Sound judgment in moderation, escalation, and de-escalation.
  • Strong operational and production discipline.
  • Builder mindset and enthusiasm for people who build software.
  • Ability to coordinate across US, Brazilian, and European time zones and markets.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Lovable's Discord, r/lovable, and Facebook groups, including programming, structure, safety, and culture.
  • Develop each community space according to its distinct audience and character.
  • Own moderation guidelines, automod tooling, and incident response.
  • Grow Reddit and Facebook from maintained presences into thriving communities.
  • Run 2–3 weekly virtual sessions, including webinars, live builds, office hours, and persona-based series.
  • Book hosts, write event descriptions, coordinate assets, manage the calendar, and administer each session.
  • Manage recording, editing, and publication of sessions to the Community Hub replay library.
  • Recruit and coach hosts across the company and community.
  • Develop community-led sessions to scale the virtual program.
  • Recruit, onboard, and support Community Champions and Super Champions.
  • Build relationships with volunteer community leaders.
  • Share community feedback, friction, feature requests, Q&A, and field observations with product, product marketing, and marketing teams.
  • Maintain the community CRM pipeline, including registration data such as persona, city, and contact information.
  • Track community health metrics including activity, retention, peer-support resolution, sentiment, attendance, RSVP-to-attendance rate, post-event NPS, and replay views.
  • Celebrate community member accomplishments across the community and company.
