Community Manager, French Speaking
The Community Manager will grow Reddit’s French-speaking communities by recruiting and supporting volunteer moderators, analyzing market and community data, and scaling international growth initiatives. The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, deep knowledge of French culture and digital communities, and fluency in French and English.

Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of the French market to identify user and local moderator challenges and growth opportunities.
- Innovate, iterate, and scale Reddit’s international consumer growth playbook by proposing programs and aligning internal teams.
- Build strategic plans to cultivate, recruit, educate, and grow local volunteer moderator communities.
- Create and implement conversion funnels to onboard power users and external creators as active moderators.
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data, establish KPIs, and execute community initiatives.
- Communicate insights that improve the international consumer growth playbook.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Community, Engineering, Marketing, Safety, and Business Development teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in community development, project management, growth, operations, or product consulting.
- Track record of community-led projects that drove business impact.
- Deep knowledge of French culture, current events, politics, customs, traditions, language, interests, and taboos.
- Understanding of France’s digital landscape and internet culture.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong execution orientation.
- Experience developing projects, framing problems, testing hypotheses, and improving processes.
- Proficiency in French and English.
