Responsibilities
- Own the delivery of high-quality software projects, coordinating with teammates and stakeholders to meet mutually agreed timelines.
- Contribute across specification, implementation, code review, QA testing, deployment, and operations.
- Seek context and rapidly iterate on solutions to eliminate ambiguity and drive projects forward.
- Participate actively in engineering recruiting, including interviewing, problem specification, and role ownership.
- Communicate with stakeholders and ask for help to unblock progress.
Requirements
- A four-year technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience with a strong emphasis on individual contribution.
- Proficiency in modern TypeScript and React, with familiarity with Python, REST APIs, and AWS.
- Strong understanding of frontend development tradeoffs, including state management, rendering performance, and component architecture.
- Experience building and maintaining design systems and reusable, styled component libraries at scale.
- Strong testing practices and thoughtful opinions on what to test and why.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity, execute independently, and communicate clearly and calmly in a fast-paced startup environment.

Compensation and Benefits
- Cash salary range: $160,000–$240,000.
