Event Travel Manager
Provides personalized event-travel support for clients and travelers, managing bookings, fare information, program planning, troubleshooting, and client relationships. Requires strong travel-booking and GDS expertise, customer service skills, and proficiency with business and communication tools.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary client liaison for the Event Travel Department and provide personalized travel support across the United States.
- Help travelers resolve issues before, during, and after travel, including cancellations, changes, and updates to hotel, flight, car, and rail bookings.
- Provide accurate fare information for travel bookings.
- Collaborate with client contacts to understand and achieve program objectives and identify critical success factors.
- Maintain project documentation, including service agreements and SLAs, to ensure policy and contract compliance.
- Troubleshoot traveler issues using agent tools and available resources.
- Coordinate program planning from the post-sale stage through final billing.
- Participate in team meetings and stay current on product launches, industry updates, and team initiatives.
- Develop travel-industry and platform knowledge; support the Team Lead.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of group travel planning experience preferred.
- 4+ years of GDS experience preferred, including Sabre; Amadeus and NDC experience preferred.
- Experience with PNR building and ticketing.
- Navan TravelXen knowledge and strong understanding of travel bookings preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.
- Technical aptitude and ability to learn new technology.
- Experience conducting client-facing video calls for setup and project management.
- Familiarity with Slack and internal communication tools.
- Ability to multitask, resolve urgent matters efficiently, and troubleshoot customer inquiries independently.
- Strong customer service skills and a record of positive CSAT outcomes.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with clients and Account Managers/Account Executives.
- Empathetic, professional, reliable, and flexible, including willingness to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
- Interest in travel and basic knowledge of world geography.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a hyper-growth environment.
Compensation
- Annual pay range: $68,000–$72,000 USD.
