About the role

Responsibilities

  • Bring the Underdog rebrand to life by translating evolving brand direction into executions that feel exciting, energetic, and unmistakably Underdog across social, paid, email, CRM, partnerships, and product touchpoints.
  • Lead campaign design end-to-end, taking projects from brief through delivery, owning the craft and pushing the visual bar at every stage.
  • Flex across styles, moving confidently between high-production campaign design and scrappy, UGC-native content that feels authentic and in-the-moment.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Product teams to bring personality, narrative, and visual consistency to creative assets across all channels.
  • Upload assets to Frontify and ensure our brand library stays current and accurate for internal and external use.
  • Contribute ideas proactively and push work forward without needing to be pointed in a direction.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of in-house or agency graphic design experience, with a portfolio that shows range across campaigns, social, digital, branding, and a clear, confident visual sensibility.
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop and Illustrator; fast, decisive, and able to adapt without losing edge.
  • Ability to make designs feel thrilling, understanding what stops a scroll, creates excitement, and makes a brand stick.
  • Equally comfortable with scrappy, culturally-tuned UGC-style work as with executing fully produced campaigns.
  • Balance creative instincts with brand guidelines, working within a system and knowing when to push it.
  • Self-starter who sees the next step and takes it without waiting to be told.
  • Use AI tools daily and think critically about how to apply them to move faster without compromising the work.
  • Have a point of view on copy, craft headlines, captions, and short-form copy that land with visuals.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, hit deadlines, and work without hand-holding.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Illustration, branding, or logo design experience.
  • Motion or animation skills.
  • Experience working within or alongside a rebranding effort.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Target starting base salary range: $94,000 - $110,000, plus target equity (depends on skills and experience).
  • Unlimited PTO (flexible except first few weeks before and into NFL season).
  • 16 weeks of fully paid parental leave.
