Responsibilities
- Define and implement India’s operating strategy in alignment with APAC and global objectives.
- Drive execution across markets, adapting to local needs, regulations, and market dynamics.
- Partner with global leadership to prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and ensure regional execution.
- Establish KPIs, reporting frameworks, and operating cadences to track performance and inform decisions.
- Build and optimize scalable processes across consumer, product, partnerships, and other business lines.
- Identify operational gaps and inefficiencies and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support market-entry strategies and operational readiness for India.
- Enable strategic partnerships through strong operational frameworks.
- Build a regional functional leadership team and ensure the operating system runs smoothly.
- Coordinate global and regional stakeholders and maintain accountability for operational delivery.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing regional operations team.
- Foster accountability, inclusion, operational rigor, and continuous learning.
- Develop leadership bench strength across markets and functions.
Requirements
- Significant experience leading regional or international operations in a fast-scaling, complex business environment.
- Strong strategic and operational judgment, with the ability to translate high-level goals into execution plans.
- Experience operating across multiple markets, functions, and business lines, ideally in India.
- Track record of building scalable operating systems, processes, metrics, and reporting frameworks.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent business judgment, bias toward action, and accountability for outcomes.
- Experience supporting market expansion, operational readiness, or regional growth initiatives.
- Strong people leadership, including building and developing high-performing teams.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and creating structure in fast-moving environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative, high-integrity, low-ego leadership style.
Work Arrangement
- Hybrid model with three days per week in the Bangalore office.
