Responsibilities
- Lead and collaborate on software projects spanning trading infrastructure, computing and data processing, model-development pipelines, and related systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust software supporting trading strategies and research initiatives.
- Drive complex projects from requirements gathering through software design, implementation, and deployment.
- Reason about supporting and dependent technologies and communicate effectively with teammates.
- Collaborate with Senior Software Engineers while receiving mentorship and coaching.
Requirements
- Experience developing in a Linux environment with emphasis on performance, concurrency, and correctness.
- Experience with one or more of Python, R, Java, Go, and C/C++.
- Backend engineering experience with databases, large-scale data processing, and highly available services.
- Ability to design, develop, and deploy backend applications from design specifications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Familiarity with modern deployment and build tooling such as Kubernetes and Bazel.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
- Graduating class of 2027.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
