Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to technical decision-making with Engineering leads across the organization.
• Design, architect, and deliver global, fault-tolerant, highly available cloud services using TypeScript, Node.js, React, and AWS.
• Develop Salesforce products and managed packages in a multi-tenant environment.
• Design maintainable code with extensive test coverage and work within source control, release-cycle, and continuous-deployment processes.
• Manage architecture and development of integrations between hosted services and customer Salesforce instances.
• Support SDLC process management, safety and soundness, governance, and application/environment issue resolution.
• Ensure quality, security, and compliance requirements are met.
• Plan, conduct, and monitor product releases.
• Support escalated production incidents and coordinate teams toward resolution.
• Develop Salesforce features using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Develop Salesforce managed packages, including Second-Generation Packages (2GP).
• Use CumulusCI and Salesforce DX workflows, including scratch orgs and unlocked packages.
• Use Git-based version control to support collaborative development and code reviews.
• Monitor and troubleshoot AWS-hosted services.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps deployment processes.
• Mentor junior developers in engineering best practices.
• Build and maintain serverless services using AWS Lambda, Amazon DynamoDB, and Amazon EventBridge.

Requirements

• Extensive experience collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to deliver well-architected, global, fault-tolerant, highly available cloud services.
• Extensive engineering experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
• At least 2 years of Second-Generation Package (2GP) development experience.
• Experience building and maintaining Salesforce managed packages.
• Experience working with vendor software, technologies, and enterprise solutions.
• Strong understanding of Agile development and secure application development, including OWASP Top 10 and threat modeling.
• Ability to design and implement integrations using REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.

• Experience building or maintaining AppExchange products.
• Salesforce Support Engineering or product-focused team experience.
• Salesforce Developer or Architecture certifications.
