Responsibilities
People Operations
- Own employee lifecycle processes, including offboarding, role transitions, promotions, transfers, and other internal movements.
- Manage People Operations requests and tickets, resolving complex queries and serving as an escalation point.
- Manage leave and attendance, localized benefits administration, payroll inputs and validations, employee documentation, and employment verification.
- Support People Operations for India, US, and EOR populations.
- Maintain process documentation, SOPs, trackers, and controls.
- Own or contribute to People Operations projects and initiatives.
Process Improvement, Automation, and Collaboration
- Review operational data, SLA trends, recurring issues, and process gaps to identify improvement opportunities.
- Improve workflows to reduce manual effort, strengthen controls, and enhance employee experience.
- Partner with People Technology on HR system enhancements, integrations, testing, workflow changes, and automation.
- Use AI and other technology solutions to streamline routine activities while appropriately handling confidential employee data.
- Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, IT, Talent Acquisition, Legal, and People Technology.
- Support adoption of new or updated People systems, policies, and processes.
Data Management, Compliance, and Reporting
- Maintain accurate employee data and lifecycle transactions across HRIS and related systems.
- Conduct audits and reconciliations, identify discrepancies or operational risks, and drive resolution.
- Ensure processes meet SLAs, internal policies, controls, and applicable compliance requirements.
- Support audits, compliance reporting, and data requests with accurate records and documentation.
- Prepare and review recurring and ad hoc People Operations reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in People Operations, Employee Services, or a related HR function.
- Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle and core People Operations processes.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as Darwinbox, ADP, or similar systems.
- Experience supporting India People Operations, with experience or exposure to US and/or EOR operations.
- Experience independently handling complex employee and operational matters.
- Experience implementing process improvements using systems, automation, or workflow enhancements.
- Comfort adopting AI and emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver against timelines and SLAs.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally and discreetly.
- Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and make sound decisions within established policies and frameworks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and collaboration tools such as Slack.
