Responsibilities
- Direct a $100M+ annual lease spend, focusing on Total Cost of Ownership and rigorous ROI analysis to ensure workplace investments deliver measurable value.
- Build an AI-led real estate management strategy, evaluating traditional administration practices and using Snowflake AI and compute capabilities, including Snowflake Cortex, to streamline lease administration, automate manual processes, and generate portfolio insights.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Legal, Procurement, Workplace Operations, and outside brokers on lease standing and new leasing activity.
- Liaise with landlords, brokers, internal legal counsel, and technical advisors through lease negotiations, transactions, utilization, and maintenance.
- Oversee accurate disbursement processing and data hygiene through invoice abstraction for rent and operating expenses within lease administration tools.
- Maintain a 100% non-default lease portfolio and build datasets for payment automation.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies and lead cleanup of historical outstanding invoices.
- Review and analyze LOIs, lease agreements, and power contracts; mentor partners on contractual outcomes and drive projects through lease execution and landlord delivery.
- Maintain insurance coverage and process portfolio insurance claims.
- Manage international real estate transactions across varied markets, regulatory frameworks, cultural contexts, tax regimes, and structures.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive experience in commercial real estate development or construction, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role overseeing a global, multi-regional, or highly complex portfolio.
- Extensive financial modeling expertise.
- Demonstrated innovative use of AI tools to improve operational efficiency, automate workflows, and increase productivity.
- Exceptional familiarity with commercial real estate, lease administration, lease abstraction, payment oversight, auditing, management, and financial reconciliation within a large-scale global portfolio.
- Strong strategic thinking, critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Working understanding of lease accounting standards, including ASC 842.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, or a business-related field.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience building or piloting AI and automation solutions on a modern data platform such as Snowflake Cortex.
- Experience executing real estate transactions across multiple international regions and tax regimes.
- Familiarity with lease administration platforms and payment automation systems.
- Track record of leading large-scale data cleanup or ledger remediation efforts.
