Leads a team responsible for platformizing payroll input and output integrations, including scalable APIs, SDKs, and data pipelines. The role combines engineering management, technical architecture, product strategy, talent development, and ownership of critical payroll product outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Senior and Staff engineers with ownership of payroll integration platform outcomes.
- Provide technical leadership through architecture and design reviews, and contribute to code when needed.
- Drive on-time, high-quality product delivery and adoption of engineering best practices.
- Partner with Product Managers on engineering and product strategy, taking on product management responsibilities when needed.
- Scale and grow the organization by attracting and developing talent.
- Improve efficiency and processes across the team and product operations.
- Own the outcome and success of critical payroll product lines.
Requirements
- Customer-centric and growth-oriented mindset with a strong focus on impact.
- Strong coding, design, and architectural skills.
- Experience in customer-focused product leadership with a platform-centric approach.
- Strong background in data infrastructure, data engineering, and scalable data pipelines.
- Proven ability to design and manage interoperable systems at scale.
- Experience owning the end-to-end product lifecycle, including platform architecture, user experience, and operational support.
- Ability to collaborate with global cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver payroll integrations.
- 12+ years of professional software development experience.
Work Arrangement
- Office-based employees are expected to work in the office at least three days per week under the current policy.
