Responsibilities
Delivery Execution
- Own end-to-end program delivery for a portfolio of enterprise customers, including instrument connectivity, Tetra OS data pipeline configuration across bronze, silver, and gold layers, and scientific use-case enablement and adoption.
- Navigate enterprise pharma delivery environments, including SSO provisioning, IT security reviews, validation hurdles, procurement workflows, and change-control processes.
- Proactively resolve timeline drag, scope creep, risks, and blockers to keep go-live ahead of schedule.
- Lead project kickoffs, milestone tracking, resource planning, scope management, and project closure across concurrent workstreams.
- Manage and document change requests, ensuring scope changes are assessed, approved, and communicated with minimal disruption.
- Maintain delivery governance covering roles, responsibilities, decision rights, and escalation paths.
- Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, customer stakeholders, and management to achieve scientific outcomes.
Customer Account Management
- Serve as the primary operational contact for customer delivery stakeholders across Lab IT, informatics, project management, and scientific teams.
- Build trust across scientific, IT, and procurement stakeholders.
- Run customer update meetings, steering committees, and executive delivery reviews.
- Manage risks and customer expectations, surface issues early, and drive them to resolution.
- Lead the handoff from implementation to steady state with clear documentation and success criteria.
- Identify and progress account expansion opportunities.
Internal Collaboration
- Coordinate cross-functional TetraScience resources, including scientific data engineers, technical architects, and product teams.
- Escalate technical issues to the Technical Delivery Director with clear context and business-impact framing.
- Contribute to improvements in delivery methodology, templates, and tooling.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in life science, chemistry, or engineering preferred.
- 5+ years in management consulting, enterprise SaaS delivery, or life sciences IT program management, with direct experience inside or serving large biopharma organizations.
- Experience navigating complex enterprise environments and influencing without direct authority.
- Strong scientific or laboratory domain literacy, including movement of instrument data from raw acquisition through processed and analysis-ready layers.
- Political fluency in large pharma and the ability to build trust across scientific, IT, and procurement stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, from data-engineering working sessions to executive steering committees.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project.
- Familiarity with agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Ability to travel routinely to customer sites, with a baseline expectation of once weekly based on account needs.
