Technical Programs Analyst

Analyzes technical and engineering data, builds dashboards and reporting, tracks vendor spend, and owns cross-functional program initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree, at least three years of relevant technology or engineering experience, and strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Analysis & Tooling

  • Pull, connect, and analyze data across multiple systems using APIs and queries to answer questions and surface insights.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting that provide visibility into engineering delivery, spend, and tooling.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual work and improve how the team obtains and uses information.

Program Delivery

  • Own programs and initiatives from request through delivery.
  • Coordinate the people, tasks, and timelines needed to deliver outcomes effectively.
  • Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and action items, following up on open items through closure.

Vendor & Spend Tracking

  • Maintain visibility into technology vendors and spend, including costs, renewals, and usage.
  • Surface optimization opportunities such as underused licenses or duplicate tools to support leadership decisions.

Reporting & Operating Rhythm

  • Produce clear status updates and recurring reports for engineering leadership.
  • Keep systems of record accurate and support the team's regular cadence of reviews and planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an analyst, program, or related role in a technology or engineering environment.
  • Comfort working with data and APIs.
  • Ability to pull, join, and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Familiarity with reporting and dashboarding tools and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Smartsheet.
  • Some scripting or query experience with SQL, Python, or similar is a strong plus.
  • Resourceful problem-solving, strong analytical thinking, clear communication, and the ability to work independently and follow through.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $75,000–$105,000 USD.
  • Comprehensive total rewards package, including company-paid medical premiums of 90%, a competitive time-off program, and other variable compensation, if eligible.
