Data Engineer

Build production-grade data processing systems and performant datasets that support AI-driven customer experiences and company-wide analytics. The role requires 5+ years of data engineering experience, strong Python and SQL skills, and expertise with distributed processing frameworks and modern analytics tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly on new customer experiences built on advanced AI systems.
  • Collaborate with researchers and engineers to develop data and AI initiatives.
  • Run implementations end-to-end and deliver initiatives through to measurable outcomes.
  • Partner across research, marketing, sales, and finance to inform company growth, products, and strategy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working on production-grade data processing systems.
  • Strong command of Python and SQL.
  • Experience with distributed data processing frameworks such as Apache Beam, Spark, or Flink, alongside large-scale data system design.
  • Ability to transform unstructured data into performant datasets in relational databases and blob storage.
  • Familiarity with modern analytics stack tooling such as BigQuery, Airflow, or dbt.
  • Genuine excitement about AI and familiarity with current research.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous, rapidly evolving problem spaces.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Java or Golang.
  • Experience with Kubernetes.
