Technical Program Manager , Public Sector

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver customers’ AI/ML objectives.
• Own account and project plans, end-to-end execution, internal resource alignment, and issue triage.
• Oversee creation and delivery of datasets evaluating model performance in cyber domains, including malicious network traffic, cryptographic systems, adversarial LLM prompts, threat intelligence, and cyber ethics.
• Track deployment of Scale software within customer environments and systems.
• Identify customer needs and operator pain points to drive customer success.
• Manage customer relationships from executive stakeholders through end users.
• Oversee onboarding and implementation of customer accounts.
• Partner with customers to understand operational issues and advocate for fixes with engineering teams.
• Work with customer engineering teams and end users to answer questions and resolve product issues.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret security clearance with polygraph.
• At least 5 years of cybersecurity experience within or in collaboration with government institutions.
• Deep knowledge of network activity, ethical hacking, cybersecurity preparedness, and cyber incidents.
• Willingness to work onsite with customers in the Columbia, MD area 4 days per week.
• Ability to travel at least 25% of the time.
• Technical degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong cross-functional influence and emotional intelligence.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated diligence and organization across multiple workstreams.

Nice to Have

• At least 5 years of program management, operations, or customer-facing experience.
• At least 10 years of cybersecurity experience within or in collaboration with a government institution.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Experience deploying software into secure cloud infrastructure.
• Basic understanding of machine learning operations and ability to develop expertise in generative AI workflows and products.
• Passion for solving complex challenges and building efficient AI systems.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary range: $199,200–$249,000 USD.
• Equity and benefits may include health, dental and vision coverage, retirement benefits, a learning and development stipend, generous paid time off, and a commuter stipend.
