Associate Applied AI Value Engineer - Orbit Program
Builds and prototypes AI-powered Celonis solutions for strategic customers, translating business challenges into measurable value and supporting proof-of-value projects through adoption. The Orbit program targets STEM graduates or candidates with internships or 1–2 years of experience who are fluent in German and English.

Responsibilities
- Understand customers’ AI strategies and business-critical challenges, identify problem-solution fit, and translate requirements into innovative Celonis solutions.
- Rapidly build creative prototypes using AI technologies during customer hackathons.
- Support customers in scaling autonomous AI agents through Celonis Process Intelligence.
- Execute business-critical Proof-of-Value projects end to end.
- Develop expertise in selected domains or industries, such as supply chain.
- Present and quantify strategic business value to senior executives.
- Remain involved through project adoption and agreed value-realization thresholds.
- Create reusable collateral, best practices, and tools for the Global Value Engineering Center of Excellence.
- Build and code within the Celonis platform using SQL, PQL, and Python.
- Scope business and technical requirements, handle objections, deliver presentations and demos, and manage customer accounts.
- Travel across EMEA, with a focus on the DACH area, to meet clients in person.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Data Analytics or Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
- Excellent academic performance.
- Extensive internship experience or 1–2 years of full-time work experience, ideally at the intersection of business and technology.
- Understanding of generative AI techniques, including RAG, few-shot learning, prompt/context engineering, multi-agent orchestration, multimodal understanding, or fine-tuning.
- Good knowledge of Python, common machine-learning libraries, and data-engineering tools and technologies.
- Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Customer-centric mindset and confidence presenting to diverse audiences.
- Proactive, curious, self-motivated, organized, and committed to continuous learning.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in German and English.
- Foundational business acumen and domain understanding, such as supply chain.
Nice to Have
- Combined technical and business education.
- Customer-facing, customer success, service, or sales experience.
- Technical proof-of-concept experience.
- Experience building agentic systems using LLM orchestration, RAG, function calling, and prompt engineering.
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or other open-source LLM packages.
- Supply chain process experience, including procurement, order management, inventory management, or production.
- Experience modeling ROI and TCO for business-case justification.
- Experience with SAP or Oracle ERP systems.
