Responsibilities
- Build and grow Flexport's air and sea freight business in the India Subcontinent region by closing net-new business.
- Manage the full sales funnel, from prospecting through closing, by targeting high-potential accounts.
- Lead discovery sessions with new clients to diagnose supply chain challenges and architect value-driven solutions.
- Present Flexport's technology-enabled advantages through compelling digital and in-person presentations.
- Own and exceed individual quotas through disciplined and strategic revenue generation.
- Coordinate customer transitions with internal operations and specialized teams.
- Serve as a regional brand ambassador and surface strategic growth leads for global demand organizations.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure service delivery reflects evolving client requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement of the sales and logistics framework.
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to achieve individual targets for profitable volume growth.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in a full-cycle, quota-carrying sales role, from prospecting through closing.
- Experience in freight forwarding or logistics is required.
- Enthusiasm for cold calling prospects and leading discovery calls.
- Strong client-service mindset and commitment to client and employee happiness.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly.
- Strategic vision combined with hands-on execution capabilities.
