Responsibilities
- Learn deeply about Fivetran to focus development on practical and relevant system improvements.
- Contribute to development and roadmap planning.
- Collaborate with the core team and broader stakeholders.
- Work across the project lifecycle, including requirements, design, prototyping, implementation, review, release, and monitoring.
- Review and approve pull requests.
- Take ownership of the product and improve it through practical engineering.
Requirements
- Experience working carefully within a high-impact software team.
- Ability to design and code effective, intuitive, easy-to-operate, and maintainable systems.
- Experience with cloud services, network protocols, serialization, and relational databases.
- Knowledge of complex structures, object orientation, exceptions, and memory management techniques.
- Experience with modern and legacy software development environments.
Nice-to-Haves
- Data replication and ETL/ELT tools.
