Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, ship, and maintain features across card issuance, transaction processing, and disputes.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code and participate in design and code reviews.
- Design and implement systems within microservice and event-driven architectures, with reliability and correctness suitable for financial systems.
- Own well-scoped features end to end, from design through testing, launch, and operation.
- Participate in operational ownership of tier-0 financial systems, including on-call, incident response, and postmortems.
- Use AI-powered tools throughout the development lifecycle to improve velocity and quality, applying sound judgment in their use.
- Maintain high engineering standards and support teammates through code reviews and technical discussions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software development or equivalent experience.
- Experience building and maintaining production software systems and delivering well-scoped projects or features end to end.
- Ability to identify flaws in complex systems and take appropriate steps to resolve them.
- Growth mindset and appetite for solving open-ended, ambiguous problems.
- Experience using AI-powered developer tools and critically evaluating and responsibly applying their outputs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary range: $120,700–$213,000 USD, varying by location and market zone.
