Responsibilities
- Develop ground satellite operations software using Python and AWS services.
- Develop scalable, secure, cost-effective, and high-performance APIs.
- Integrate with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Fargate, and EKS.
- Implement new features and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and automate operational processes.
- Contribute across backend development, generative AI integrations, DevSecOps, CI/CD tooling, and software architecture.
- Collaborate with frontend and backend engineers and product managers in an Agile Scrum environment.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python, GraphQL, Docker, and Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting APIs for AI platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and AskSage.
- Strong knowledge of containerized applications.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes cluster deployments.
- Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, EKS, CloudWatch, S3, EFS/EBS, EC2, and RDS.
- Fluency with collaborative development using Git and platforms such as GitHub or GitLab.
- Strong technical analysis and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and complete projects on time with minimal guidance.
- High standards for software maintainability, quality, resilience, and performance.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in backend development, full-stack development, or a related role.
- U.S. Person status required; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
- Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance.
- Must satisfy applicable ITAR authorization requirements.
