Responsibilities
- Develop cloud-native ground satellite operations software using Python and AWS services.
- Design, develop, integrate, analyze, and troubleshoot scalable, secure, cost-efficient, and high-performance APIs.
- Integrate AWS services and automate processes to improve reliable satellite operations.
- Implement new features and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to backend development, generative AI integrations, DevSecOps, CI/CD tooling, and software architecture design and maintenance.
- Collaborate with frontend and backend engineers and product managers in an Agile Scrum environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in backend development, full-stack development, or a related role; equivalent demonstrated technical ability may be considered.
- U.S. Person status required; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
- Active U.S. security clearance required.
- Proficiency with Python, GraphQL, Docker, and Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting APIs for AI platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and AskSage.
- Strong knowledge of containerized applications.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes cluster deployments.
- Experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS, EKS, CloudWatch, S3, EFS/EBS, EC2, and RDS.
- Fluency with Git and collaborative development platforms such as GitHub or GitLab.
- Strong technical analysis and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently, complete projects on time, and maintain high standards for software quality, resilience, maintainability, and performance.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills.
