Responsibilities
- Write low-latency financial software processing billions of dollars in daily trading volume, including order-book matching engines, trading engines, and REST and WebSocket API endpoints.
- Build high-performance REST and WebSocket APIs for frontend applications and programmatic traders.
- Architect performant, reliable backend systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop the overall product.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables using technical expertise.
- Mentor and develop team members on design techniques and coding standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5 years of software development experience.
- At least 3 years of experience managing core Node.js services that deliver business data to microservices.
- Experience with Terraform, Amazon Web Services (AWS), EC2, Glue, S3, Athena, PostgreSQL, Node.js, and Datadog.
Compensation
- Salary range: $230,000–$305,000 USD.
- Compensation varies based on experience and location; variable compensation such as merit increases, bonuses, commissions, or equity may also be available.
