About the role

Responsibilities

  • Qualify, educate, negotiate and close new business with enterprise prospects in target markets (primarily private contractors supporting US Government and military programs requiring strong encryption; secondary: healthcare and financial services).
  • Coordinate with and develop relationships with existing channel partners; identify new channel opportunities.
  • Drive sales via Zoom meetings, phone calls, occasional face-to-face meetings, and industry events.
  • Exceed assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate involvement of customer support, customer success, and product management to win customers.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in an enterprise software or SaaS account management role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Rolodex of relevant contacts and solid reputation.
  • Highly proficient at engaging with higher-level IT, Compliance, or Security resources.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative problem solver.
  • Energized by driving impact in a growing company.
  • Experience with cybersecurity, security compliance, or data protection solutions.

Desired Experience

  • Startup or small business experience.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM.
  • Knowledge of DFARS, NIST, CMMC, and ITAR cybersecurity regulations.
  • Experience with private enterprises supporting government or defense sectors.
