About the job

Responsibilities

  • Own client-facing analysis end-to-end: build, maintain, and produce key reports for clients across our data ecosystem, from scoping to delivery.
  • Be a thought partner to client-facing teams: use deep understanding of clients and the Garner product to partner with stakeholders, answering questions via analytically robust reports and presentations.

  • Develop deep domain expertise: build a strong understanding of your analytical domain to independently drive meaningful insights.
  • Close reporting gaps: identify gaps between client needs and existing reports, proactively develop new insights to fill them.
  • Raise the bar on data practices: advocate for best practices in visualization, documentation, metric consistency, and stakeholder communication across teams.
  • Answer high-stakes, ambiguous questions: run deep-dive investigations into complex business problems for strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Consulting, or a similar data-centric role.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into data-driven solutions and work effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working independently and owning reporting projects end-to-end.
  • Attention to detail with a bias toward automation and scalability over one-off work.
  • Comfort with and excitement about building analytics, building dashboards, and validating results by harnessing the power of AI agents.
  • Track record of using data analysis to communicate business solutions.
  • Hands-on with Snowflake (or comparable cloud warehouse) and SQL at scale; experience with dbt strongly preferred.
  • Desire to be part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, strong individual accountability, and commitment to authentic feedback.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with dbt.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Target salary range: $149,000 - $160,000 base.
  • Eligible for equity incentive.
