Responsibilities
- Manage projects and clients with leading AI organizations to build data solutions for foundation model development while driving revenue.
- Lead and coordinate specialized expert teams across domains including finance, software engineering, and law.
- Design dataset specifications that influence how frontier models are evaluated and improved.
- Own projects end-to-end, including scoping, execution, iteration, and delivery.
- Support cross-functional operational initiatives involving analysis, coordination, and execution.
Requirements
- PhD, completed or ABD, in biology, chemistry, mathematics, data analytics/statistics, or a related STEM field; or equivalent demonstrated excellence as an IOI, IMO, or USAPhO medalist, ICPC or USACO finalist, or Putnam top 500 finisher.
- Background in scientific research, computational modeling, experimental design, or quantitative/statistical analysis.
- Strong understanding of core disciplinary fundamentals and quantitative and systems-level reasoning.
- High agency, strong work ethic, and comfort defining problems in ambiguous environments with minimal direction.
- Demonstrated leadership and strong communication abilities.
- Passion for AI and entrepreneurial inclination.
- Demonstrated competitive success through publications, research awards, fellowships, or equivalent achievements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python, R, or another data-analysis language.
- Familiarity with LLM training, fine-tuning, or evaluation.
- Familiarity with AI tools and workflows.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $150,000–$225,000 annually.
