Forward Deployed Engineer
Build and deploy AI voice-agent capabilities, customer integrations, and internal tooling across Python/PostgreSQL and React/TypeScript systems. The role partners closely with clients and product teams to improve reliability, call quality, and real-time conversational performance.

Responsibilities
- Build and ship new capabilities, MVPs, and internal tooling across a FastAPI (Python) and PostgreSQL backend and React (TypeScript) frontend.
- Integrate with EHRs, payor systems, APIs, and other complex customer systems.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in high-volume, live systems supporting thousands of daily phone calls.
- Translate client feedback into product improvements in partnership with AI product managers and engineering.
- Tune and optimize voice agents through LLM prompting, voice and transcription configuration, and conversation logic.
- Manage multiple clients and competing deadlines while maintaining quality.
Requirements
- Experience with software development, including through an internship or side project.
- Understanding of FastAPI, Python, PostgreSQL, React, and TypeScript, or equivalent technologies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to support AI voice agents handling thousands of daily phone calls.
- Ownership mindset, strong work ethic, and willingness to take on significant responsibility.
