Build production-grade training environments and infrastructure that enable AI agents to perform realistic, multi-step work. The role requires strong Python skills, broad engineering range across application and infrastructure layers, and ownership of technically substantial projects.

Responsibilities
- Build high-fidelity applications that reproduce professional software behavior and workflows.
- Build tool APIs, MCP servers, containerized computer-use systems, and infrastructure connecting environments to AI agents.
- Design realistic tasks, analyze rollouts, tune difficulty, and diagnose whether failures originate in the model, task, or environment.
- Build schemas, large corpora, anonymization pipelines, and fast search and loading systems.
- Improve shared engineering infrastructure, including automation, QA systems, deployment tooling, and team workflows.
- Own production software from initial specification through implementation, testing, and delivery.
Requirements
- Strong Python skills with breadth across backend, frontend, data, and infrastructure.
- Experience owning technically substantial projects from early stage through production.
- Clear, structured technical communication.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, component interactions, failure modes, testing, reliability, tradeoffs, and scope.
- Ability to work with changing requirements, tight deadlines, and unfamiliar problem spaces.
- Remote availability with time overlap with New York.
Compensation
- $80,000–$150,000 USD
