Head of Sales
Leads and scales Mixpanel’s Australia and New Zealand sales organization across SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise segments. The role combines team leadership, pipeline and revenue ownership, strategic deal participation, and cross-functional go-to-market execution.

Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop Account Executives across SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise segments.
- Drive achievement of revenue targets across new business, expansion, and renewals.
- Execute regional go-to-market strategy and identify growth opportunities in Australia and New Zealand.
- Build and maintain a predictable pipeline through outbound, inbound, and product-led motions.
- Support strategic deals, deal progression, and executive conversations as a player-coach.
- Establish scalable sales processes and methodologies tailored to different segments.
- Drive operational rigor across forecasting, pipeline management, and territory planning.
- Partner with Marketing, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, and Partnerships on cohesive go-to-market motions.
- Hire, onboard, and develop sales talent across segments and geographies.
- Foster accountability, inclusion, and continuous development.
- Provide visibility into performance, risks, and opportunities to regional leadership.
Requirements
- 6–10+ years of experience in SaaS sales.
- 3–5+ years in a sales leadership role.
- Proven experience leading teams across SMB, Mid-Market, and/or Enterprise segments.
- Experience operating in Australia, New Zealand, and/or broader APAC markets.
- Experience managing inbound, outbound, and product-led sales motions.
- Strong command of sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, and Force Management.
- Ability to coach representatives through transactional and strategic deal complexities.
- Data-driven approach to performance management and decision-making.
- Passion for recruiting, developing, and retaining talent.
- Hands-on player-coach leadership style.
- Strong communication and executive presence.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience selling to the Australian enterprise or mid-market technology sector.
- Familiarity with regional partners, system integrators, or channel ecosystems across ANZ.
- Experience selling analytics, data, martech, or developer tools.
- Experience in high-growth SaaS environments.
- Experience supporting product-led growth and sales-assisted conversion.
