Content Marketing Manager

Creates developer-focused social, video, and written content for a technical robotics software platform. The role requires strong editorial judgment, clear writing, visual skills, and a portfolio demonstrating content for technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Create, design, schedule, and publish content across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and Instagram.
  • Turn technical source material into channel-native content, including short-form video, threads, product posts, and event content.
  • Own Viam’s Twitter/X presence and build a consistent, credible voice with developers.
  • Manage Viam’s YouTube channel, including uploads, titles, descriptions, metadata, and organization.
  • Write occasional blog posts by working with engineers and other technical subject matter experts.
  • Support content needs around major product launches, campaigns, and Viam Education initiatives.
  • Review performance biweekly and identify what’s working, what isn’t, and what to adjust.
  • Brief and provide feedback to video support when needed.

Requirements

  • Experience creating developer-focused social content for a developer tool, technical SaaS product, or similarly technical audience.
  • Strong editorial judgment and the ability to find compelling stories in technical material.
  • Excellent, precise, clear, human writing that avoids marketing hype.
  • Strong visual instincts and the ability to independently create polished assets in Canva across text, image, and short-form video.
  • High independence and the ability to turn a brief or raw idea into finished work with a point of view.
  • A portfolio or examples of relevant work across social, video, writing, or other content for technical audiences.
  • Adobe experience is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $30–$45/hour.
