Own Pulse’s technical content, messaging, social presence, product launches, sales materials, and events as its first dedicated growth and marketing hire. The role requires exceptional technical writing, fluency with engineering concepts, and the ability to communicate document AI products to technical audiences.
About the job
Responsibilities
- Write and edit technical content, including deep-dive blog posts, benchmark releases, release notes, and customer stories.
- Manage Pulse’s LinkedIn and X presence and grow an audience of technical practitioners.
- Own messaging and positioning across priority industries.
- Run product launches end to end, including blog posts, landing pages, social media, and email announcements.
- Turn engineering work, evaluations, and customer results into sales materials such as one-pagers, solution briefs, and evaluation guides.
- Plan and execute participation in industry conferences, executive dinners, and roundtables.
- Use HubSpot and Webflow to report on inbound interest, content engagement, and share of voice.
Requirements
- 0–4 years of experience in technical writing, content, developer relations, or startup/agency marketing; new graduates with strong writing and published work portfolios are encouraged to apply.
- Exceptional written communication for technical audiences.
- Ability to explain technical systems clearly and without hype.
- Technical fluency sufficient to interview engineers, interpret benchmark tables, and collaborate with engineering and data teams.
- Experience writing for social media or a clear perspective on LinkedIn and X content for technical audiences.
- Bias toward shipping content quickly.
Nice to Have
- Experience writing about developer tools, data infrastructure, or AI products.
- Experience growing an online audience through writing.
- Technical background in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or another quantitative field.
- Experience running a launch, content program, or event end to end.
- Prior startup or founding experience.
