Creates fast, accurate, and engaging NBA and WNBA social content for Underdog by monitoring news, lineups, and storylines and integrating products, odds, and markets. The role requires strong basketball knowledge, creativity, and articulate writing.

Responsibilities
- Monitor NBA and WNBA news, lineups, and storylines.
- Create social media posts for @UnderdogNBA and @UnderdogWNBA on Twitter/X.
- Generate ideas for evergreen content using research, existing storylines, and sports history.
- Integrate Underdog’s products, odds, and markets into engaging social media posts.
- Help manage back-end administrative systems and organizational tools.
Requirements
- Strong familiarity with online culture and basketball.
- Creativity and articulate writing ability.
- Ability to package trending moments into relatable, engaging content.
- Passionate knowledge of basketball.
Nice-to-haves
- Documented experience growing a social media channel or improving news content with an emphasis on speed and accuracy.
- Knowledge of NFL, MLB, golf, college football, or other sports.
Compensation
- Base salary: $72,000–$80,000 annually, plus target equity.
