About the role
Procurement Operations
Manage the end to end lifecycle of hardware procurement requests from intake through receipt.
Create and maintain purchase requisitions and purchase orders in enterprise procurement systems.
Monitor open purchase orders and proactively manage changes, delays, cancellations, and supplier communications.
Partner with Infrastructure teams to ensure timely procurement of data center and hardware assets.
Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations, order confirmations, shipment updates, and delivery timelines.
Ensure procurement activities align with company policies, controls, and approval requirements.
Infrastructure and Asset Management
Partner with Capacity Planning teams to support forecasting and hardware demand planning activities.
Collaborate with Fixed Assets teams to ensure accurate capitalization and asset tracking.
Maintain visibility into hardware inventory levels, deployment status, and lifecycle management activities.
Support inventory reconciliation efforts and asset audits as required.
Track advanced shipment notifications and coordinate receiving activities across multiple locations.
Ensure hardware receipts are accurately recorded within the ERP system to enable invoice processing and asset management.
Supplier Management
Initiate supplier onboarding requests and partner with supplier management teams to ensure timely activation of new vendors.
Maintain supplier information and assist with vendor related issue resolution.
Support supplier performance reviews through reporting and operational metrics.
Partner with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment related inquiries.
Process Improvement and Innovation
Identify opportunities to simplify and improve procurement and infrastructure workflows.
Leverage data, reporting, and technology to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
Partner with internal technology teams to evaluate automation opportunities across procurement processes.
Develop dashboards, reporting, and insights that improve decision making and operational visibility.
Support implementation of new tools, systems, and digital solutions that enhance the procurement experience.
Document processes and create scalable operating procedures that support organizational growth.
Requirements
Three to seven years of experience in procurement, supply chain, operations, infrastructure procurement, or hardware purchasing.
Experience creating and managing purchase orders within Oracle and Coupa platforms.
Strong understanding of hardware procurement, inventory management, receiving processes, and supplier operations.
Experience working with cross functional stakeholders across Finance, Infrastructure, Operations, and Procurement.
Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.
Experience leveraging automation, workflow technologies, analytics, or emerging technologies to improve business processes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience building reports, dashboards, or workflow automations.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting data center infrastructure procurement.
Experience with Oracle, Coupa, and Zip.
Experience with inventory management, fixed asset accounting, and capitalization processes.
Understanding of infrastructure hardware categories including servers, networking equipment, storage, and related technology assets.
