Analytical backbone for Together AI's Infrastructure Strategy team. Conduct research, benchmarking, capacity planning, vendor/site evaluation, build dashboards, and drive data-backed decisions for scaling GPU compute infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Support the Infrastructure Strategy team's planning process by gathering data, running comparisons, and preparing materials and recommendations for leadership reviews.
- Build internal trackers and dashboards that help the team monitor infrastructure deployments, vendor pipelines, and compute usage across products and customers.
- Develop and maintain comparison frameworks for infrastructure sourcing decisions (such as deploying owned vs. leased compute, location strategy, vendor selection, site evaluation) in partnership with Finance and Infra Eng.
- Run ad hoc analyses to support capacity planning decisions.
- Research and evaluate data center sites and energy sourcing options, comparing power availability, connectivity, permitting timelines, deployment readiness, and reliability.
- Champion process improvements across the Infrastructure Strategy function, collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Data, and Finance to design AI-native workflows that streamline operations and automate repetitive analysis.
- Take on ad hoc analytical projects as priorities evolve, operating with speed and minimal direction.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in management consulting, business operations, strategy, or a similar analytically rigorous role.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, familiarity with SQL or data visualization tools, and comfort with AI productivity tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex).
- Strong quantitative skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and comfort building analyses from scratch.
- Ability to learn new domains quickly and operate effectively in unfamiliar territory.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and keep information current.
- Clear communicator who can present data and comparisons to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience at a high-growth startup or AI company.
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure, data center strategy, or GPU/compute procurement.
- Interest or background in power markets, energy procurement, and/or hardware.
Compensation
The US base salary range for this full-time position is: $140-170K + equity + benefits.
