Position Expectations
- Own monthly revenue close procedures, including detailed review of revenue contracts and preparing write-ups
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Professional Services, Legal, Deal Strategy) to evaluate and advise on contract terms
- Collaborate with auditors and stakeholders on revenue audits and compliance
- Support revenue-related system implementations
- Assist in process and controls documentation for revenue accounting
- Participate in special projects and ad hoc analyses
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related; CPA a plus
- 3+ years progressive experience in revenue accounting in technology industry
- Proficient in ASC 606 revenue pronouncements
- Experience in SOX-controlled environment preferred
- Knowledge of ERP/CRM systems (NetSuite, Salesforce)
- Experience supporting month-end close and revenue reporting
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Comfort in fast-growth environment with shifting priorities
