Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-powered features across the full stack, from backend inference services to frontend interfaces within ClickHouse Cloud.
- Create robust, scalable APIs connecting ClickHouse database capabilities with AI/ML inference systems and internal or external AI services.
- Build responsive, intuitive interfaces that make AI functionality accessible to users with varying technical backgrounds.
- Implement and maintain integrations with AI/ML ecosystem standards, frameworks, and tools.
- Integrate models into production systems with monitoring, versioning, observability, and evaluation.
- Drive features from concept through production with minimal supervision and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience in production environments.
- Experience working directly with AI/ML technologies.
- Strong TypeScript/JavaScript and React skills, particularly for frontend development.
- Backend development experience with TypeScript or Python, focused on API design and service architecture.
- Strong ownership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience building data-oriented interfaces and visualizations.
- Experience integrating and deploying AI/ML models in production, including inference APIs and vector databases.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, especially AI/ML deployment services.
- Understanding of database systems and data-processing pipelines.
- ClickHouse experience.
