Solution Engineer - Trucking
The Solution Engineer supports technical pre- and post-sales engagements for automotive software, tooling, vehicle operating systems, and autonomy products. The role requires 4+ years of software or technical customer-engagement experience, strong automotive systems knowledge, programming skills in Python or C++, and excellent communication.

Responsibilities
- Support pre-sales and post-sales customer engagements across Vehicle OS, Self-Driving Systems (SDS), and tooling pillars.
- Conduct technical discovery, demos, and proof-of-concept work across the product suite.
- Adapt technical depth to the product pillar most relevant to each customer or opportunity.
- Build cross-pillar proposals for engagements spanning multiple product areas.
- Work with product and solution specialists to ramp up on new product areas.
- Manage multiple concurrent customer engagements and maintain clear internal stakeholder communication.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software development or technical customer engagement in trucking or an adjacent field, ideally spanning multiple product domains such as Vehicle OS, SDS, and simulation tooling.
- Strong automotive software foundations, with the ability to engage credibly on E/E architecture, ADAS validation, and/or autonomy systems.
- Ability to learn new technical domains quickly and apply them in customer-facing contexts.
- Track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder technical programs.
- Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Programming experience in Python and/or C++.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to Have
- Swedish and/or an additional European language.
- Solution engineering, field application engineering, or technical pre-sales experience.
- Experience at an OEM, Tier 1, and/or automotive technology company.
- Familiarity with AUTOSAR Classic and/or Adaptive.
- Knowledge of ISO 26262, SOTIF, or ASPICE.
