Responsibilities
- Support leadership in developing and executing business strategies, setting organizational goals, tracking progress, and ensuring cross-functional alignment.
- Develop and own KPIs used to measure business health and team performance.
- Partner with Operations, Finance, Product, and Marketing to scope analytical questions, deliver deep-dive insights, and provide recommendations.
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models for accurate, accessible business metrics.
- Design, prototype, and deploy AI agents for anomaly monitoring, narrative summaries, ad-hoc data questions, and automated reporting.
- Monitor dashboards and deployed agents, gather user feedback, and refine outputs for accuracy, usefulness, and adoption.
- Identify repetitive analytical tasks suited to agentic automation or traditional BI tooling.
- Partner with Data Engineering to validate source data and maintain data quality and integrity.
- Document agent capabilities, limitations, and intended use cases.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in high-growth startups, strategy consulting, business intelligence, data analytics, or specialized business operations roles.
- Strong SQL and Excel skills, including independently accessing data and building reporting models.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses and clear recommendations.
- Daily fluency with AI tools, including prompt writing, output evaluation, agent debugging, and recognizing when human judgment is required.
- Growth mindset and willingness to work in a high-effort, high-impact role.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience deploying AI agents or LLM-powered tools, including evaluation, monitoring, and failure-mode analysis.
- Experience in logistics, fintech, marketplaces, or B2B SaaS.
- Experience at a Series A–C company.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range for Washington-based candidates: $141,000–$190,000 annually.
