Responsibilities
- Run recurring new-hire and headcount reports for Finance and leadership; triage employee HR questions and route issues to the appropriate owner.
- Coordinate onboarding across Recruiting, HR, leadership, IT, and facilities, including visa tracking, access, and orientations.
- Serve as the first point of contact for questions about leave, benefits, and company policies.
- Track leave and employee status, provide accurate payroll data and adjustments to Sequoia, and work with Cape’s PEO, EoR (Remote), and leave platform.
- Draft employment verification letters, compile HR metrics, maintain employee files in the HRIS, and produce finance reporting and leadership dashboards.
- Improve HR operations as the company scales; automate repetitive workflows, create employee FAQs, and support People programs.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in HR Operations.
- Experience automating repetitive HR workflows, including forms, reminders, and reporting.
- Experience leading and coordinating payroll processes.
- HRIS experience; Sequoia experience required.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, discretion, and employee-service orientation.

- NYC salary range: $100,000–$110,000, depending on experience and interview performance.
