Senior People Partner, Non-Tech

Partners with senior business leaders on organization design, employee relations, performance, compensation, leveling, and talent decisions. The role requires 8+ years in People Partnering or HRBP work, strong judgment in complex situations, and experience supporting globally distributed teams.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior business leaders on organization design, team structure, leveling, promotions, and compensation decisions.
  • Own complex employee relations and performance situations end-to-end, including performance management, role transitions, and exits.
  • Improve manager capability through stronger feedback, performance conversations, and talent decisions.
  • Partner with Talent on hiring quality, role design, leveling frameworks, and evaluation practices.
  • Identify friction and risk in people processes and build pragmatic, scalable solutions with Legal, Total Rewards, and Finance.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in People Partnering or HRBP roles, including substantial direct partnership with senior business leaders.
  • Track record of influencing senior leaders on organization design, performance, and talent decisions.
  • Strong employee relations judgment and experience resolving high-stakes, complex situations.
  • Experience driving compensation, promotion, and leveling decisions across business functions.
  • Experience supporting globally distributed teams and navigating multi-country complexity.
  • Ability to create practical structure and clarity in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across senior audiences.
  • Exposure to international employment models or global expansion work.

Nice to Have

  • Deep familiarity with career frameworks and compensation models.
  • Experience building or evolving people systems in a scaling, AI-native company.
  • Experience supporting globally distributed go-to-market, data center, or business organizations.
  • SPHR or comparable certification.
  • Track record of designing or improving compliance-focused programs that measurably reduce organizational risk.

  • Annual base salary: $160,000–$180,000 USD.
