About the role
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Metric Architecture
Design and maintain a comprehensive set of SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, Magic Number) to track performance across Revenue, R&D, and Support
Build and refine sophisticated financial models to analyze revenue streams, customer segmentation, pricing strategies, and sales team productivity
Partner with the VP of Finance to drive the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process
GTM Operations & Deal Desk Partnership
Serve as the financial partner to the Deal Desk and Sales Leadership; analyze pricing, deal profitability, non-standard contract terms, and revenue recognition implications
Analyze the ROI of sales compensation plans and GTM organizational structure
Conduct deep-dive analyses on specific business questions (new market entry, product margin analysis) to support executive decision-making
Systems, Data Governance & Process Improvement
Spearhead the integration between GTM systems (Salesforce) and financial systems (ERP/Planning tools)
Define the "source of truth" for sales data and implement quality controls for booking and revenue data
Develop standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for financial analysis to move from ad-hoc reporting to scalable, automated frameworks
Requirements
5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Sales Operations with strong analytics experience
Prior experience in Enterprise SaaS company; private equity or investment banking experience preferred
Advanced proficiency in Excel (complex modeling) required
Strong familiarity with Salesforce (reporting, dashboards, object relationships) essential
Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Python) and Planning tools (Anaplan, Adaptive Insights) is a major plus
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Math, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative field; MBA or master's degree a plus
Proven ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable narratives for non-financial stakeholders
Strong communication, writing, collaboration, and self-motivation skills
Own and scale accounting operations processes including AP, payroll, expense management, and systems automation. Requires 7+ years experience, accounting degree, and expertise in process design, reconciliations, audits, and cross-functional collaboration in a high-growth environment.
