Responsibilities
- Own West Coast revenue targets, forecasting, pipeline health, and quarterly sales goals across named accounts and agency groups.
- Develop and execute regional go-to-market strategy, including territory design, vertical focus, pricing and packaging inputs, and coverage plans.
- Hire, coach, and lead a growing team of sellers; establish deal reviews, operating rhythms, and CRM hygiene standards.
- Build senior relationships with brands and agencies, open new logos, and expand strategic accounts.
- Lead complex deals from prospecting and positioning through negotiation, close, renewal, and expansion.
- Partner with Account Management and Ad Operations to ensure effective campaign delivery.
- Provide market feedback to sales and product leadership on pricing, packaging, measurement, and ad experiences.
- Build scalable sales motions, outreach cadences, and team practices in a startup-like environment.
Requirements
- 8+ years of direct digital advertising sales experience, with a record of hunting, closing, and renewing in premium mobile or consumer app environments.
- Experience selling video and native/custom advertising formats and structuring innovative agreements with top-tier advertisers and agencies.
- Ability to engage senior decision-makers while personally building collateral, troubleshooting issues, and driving revenue.
- Strong understanding of ad technology and mobile app ecosystems.
- Ability to use data to assess performance and inform pricing and packaging.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable operating with ambiguity and at high velocity.
Nice-to-haves
- Established relationships with West Coast brand and agency decision-makers.
- Experience launching or scaling a new advertising product from 0 to 1 within a publisher or platform.
- Experience shaping regional go-to-market strategy, sales processes, or coverage models.
- Familiarity partnering with Account Management and Ad Operations on native/custom programs and live-campaign storytelling.
- Vertical expertise in entertainment, gaming, streaming, or technology.
Compensation
- Base salary range: $140,000–$210,000 USD.
- Base salary is supplemented by equity compensation.
