Sales Director, Brands & Agencies
Own new-business sales for an AI and automated data science platform, targeting strategic enterprise brands and senior marketing stakeholders. The role requires at least five years of marketing technology sales experience, a strong quota-hitting record, and established relationships across major brands or agencies.

Responsibilities
- Own the full new-business sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through close, focusing on large strategic enterprise brands.
- Create opportunities within target accounts through outbound prospecting, relationship development, referrals, events, and other channels.
- Develop account strategies for priority prospects, identifying stakeholders, business priorities, entry points, and paths to enterprise adoption.
- Build relationships with senior brand, creative, and marketing leaders, including CMOs and VPs of Marketing.
- Lead consultative sales conversations connecting the platform to creative effectiveness, brand strategy, messaging, campaign development, and marketing performance.
- Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes, build executive champions, and create urgency around strategic opportunities.
- Prepare tailored presentations, proposals, and RFP responses articulating business value and impact.
- Maintain a high-quality strategic opportunity pipeline and meet or exceed quarterly and annual new-business targets.
- Manage pipeline and forecasting in CRM, documenting deal progress, risks, stakeholders, and next steps.
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales experience focused on marketing technology.
- Proven success hunting new business, meeting quota, and competing in a highly competitive market.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong knowledge of marketing and research industry trends, technology platforms, and pricing models.
- Strategic thinking and understanding of traditional and contemporary sales dynamics, tactics, and strategies.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM software such as HubSpot and Salesforce.
- Ability to work autonomously, stay organized, and report progress regularly.
- Current relationships with decision-makers at Fortune 500 brands and/or leading marketing agencies in New York, Los Angeles, and/or Chicago.
- Active participation in industry trade and networking events.

Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $150,000–$180,000, depending on experience.
